Dolphins save lives

There was a striking article published in the press in the middle of 19th century. According to the article, the Cairo engineer was fishing when the storm started. His boat was damaged by huge waves, and in a few minutes when he found himself in water a great number of dolphins came and surrounded him. And several kilometres they were accompanying the man to the sea shore not leaving the man even for a minute protecting him from sharks.

A tragic catastrophe took place in 1981 the ship sank with 1136 passenger aboard. Only 615 people survived including three children that were saved by dolphins that helped them not to sink until rescuers came.

Similar story happened to the Dutch pilot who survived in the aircraft. Experienced pilot baled out with all necessary things to survive. During eight days dolphins were pushing his inflatable boat to the nearest sea shore and left the man only near the shore.

Another message in mass media made people wonder about dolphins. These creatures saved the fisherman who spent 40 hours in high seas. He was holding the reversed boat and saw dolphins that protected him from sharks.

Another story was told by the family that was swimming in the ocean when suddenly a lot of dolphins surrounded it. People couldn't get out from the water because of them. But the man managed to get out from the circle and when he did he saw a big shark swimming near them. The family had to wait for 45 minutes until the shark went away and dolphins allowed them to get out.
